The EmpowerHER Tech program by JEEF Africa is a dedicated initiative to bridging the gender tech gap by providing women and girls with essential technology skills and entrepreneurial training. In an era where digital literacy and technological proficiency are crucial for economic growth and personal development, it’s imperative to ensure that women and girls are not left behind.
Why Empower Women and Girls in Tech?
Despite the rapid advancements in technology globally, Africa still lags in digital inclusion, particularly for women and girls. Statistics reveal a significant gender digital divide, with fewer women having access to technology, education, and opportunities in the tech industry. This disparity not only limits the potential of half the population but also hampers the continent’s overall progress.

Offering comprehensive courses in coding, web development, digital marketing, data analysis, and other high-demand tech skills like cybersecurity, AI & Machine Learning, Data Science and Visualization, UI/UX, etc
